Interim President M. Michael FaganWelcome to our Web site!

Celebrating 150 Years!

Our mission is to prepare leaders to serve and succeed in all areas of their lives. How do we do it? You will quickly see as you browse our site that we offer a strong academic experience in a close-knit, faith-based environment.

Our students prepare for their futures with a wide-range of challenging academic choices. Our career-oriented liberal arts curriculum offers majors in traditional liberal arts and sciences as well as in applied disciplines. Superb teaching from a global perspective provides a rich classroom experience. Students sharpen their critical thinking skills by learning how to find, use and defend worthwhile information.

Our students learn to lead in an atmosphere that affirms the highest ethical values of the Christian faith in the tradition of the United Methodist Church. We help students realize their leadership potential in all areas of their lives.

Our students are encouraged to serve in anticipation of a lifetime of service to others. Last year, one third of our students took part in community service opportunities. From overseas mission trips to numerous local projects, Kentucky Wesleyan students meet the needs of others and positively impact the world around them.

Our students succeed in the classroom with personalized instruction and a low student-faculty ratio. Our graduates are consistently accepted into the most prestigious graduate and professional programs in the country and enjoy successful careers in many fields.

In addition to intellectual growth and spiritual development, our students learn to maintain good health and fitness through excellent athletic programs, intramurals and health education.

Our faculty and staff all agree - our students come first! We are all committed to the care and nurturing of our students through face-to-face support and encouragement.

Thank you for visiting our Web site. I hope you will plan a visit to our beautiful campus, so you can personally experience the excitement of our vibrant campus community. And when you come to campus, please stop by. I would enjoy meeting you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Cheryl D. King
President
