What can I do with a Sociology or Human Services Administration Degree?
Sociology majors provide an excellent preparation for a career in human services, law, business, or any other filed in which an understanding of the causes of human social behavior will be useful.

Students who have graduated from KWC in sociology or HSA have most commonly chosen to work in fields such as social work, counseling, and related areas. Others have attended graduate school and become professionals in disciplines such as public administration and urban planning. Some have attended law school. Several have completed graduate work in sociology and are now pursuing academic careers.

A major in human services administration prepares students for employment in the management of social service agencies. This program readies students to work in supervisory positions in substance abuse programs, residential treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, halfway houses, nursing homes, youth clubs, etc
