Founded in 1858, Kentucky Wesleyan College has an enrollment
of approximately 960 students from 21 states and several countries. In
February 2002, the College successfully completed a $23 million comprehensive
capital campaign to fund new facilities and endowment growth. Kentucky
Wesleyan recently developed a creative strategic plan designed to increase
enrollment to 1,200 students. A fine arts center, campus community
center, and science center have been completed to date. The College is
located in Owensboro, Kentucky's third largest city and home to a performing
arts center, two museums, a symphony orchestra, a dance company, and a
theatre group, as well as another private college and a community college.
Owensboro is 115 miles west of Louisville, 130 miles north
of Nashville, 200 miles southwest of Cincinnati and 180 miles east
of St. Louis.

ACCOUNTING
The Center for Business Studies of Kentucky Wesleyan College invites applications for a tenure-track position in accounting starting fall semester 2008. The successful candidate will be able to teach both introductory and upper-level accounting courses. Possible graduate teaching assignments may also be available. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of the Ph. D. or D.B.A. degree. CPA or related professional certification is a plus. A record of undergraduate teaching experience, including online, is desirable. MEN'S SOCCER COACH
Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks a part-time Coach for the Men’s Soccer team. Responsibilities include coaching players, organizing practice sessions and matches, and recruiting students for the team. Candidates should have previous coaching experience; a demonstrated knowledge of soccer skills, techniques, and strategies; an understanding of KWC and NCAA Division II philosophy; and excellent interpersonal communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, as is experience recruiting international student-athletes. ASSISTANT DEAN OF STUDENT LIFE
Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks an energetic and creative Assistant Dean of Student Life. This full-time position is a key member of the Student Life staff and will focus on Student Activities, Greek Life, Residence Life (assist in staff selection, training, supervision, and co-curricular learning opportunities).
Required qualifications: A master’s degree or significant progress toward a degree in student affairs or a related field. Experience in Residence Life and knowledge of current student life issues and literature. A high interest in student involvement and contact and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications: At least 2 years of full-time employment in student affairs with experience in student activities and residence life. A commitment to liberal arts and a small campus atmosphere.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS
Kentucky Wesleyan College seeks candidates for the full-time position of Associate Director of Admissions. The Associate Director of Admissions will assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and recruitment program designed to meet enrollment objectives and budgetary goals of the College.
Duties include
· Plan, implement, direct and evaluate recruitment activities for specific areas.
· Review applications and credentials for admission to the College
· Interview and counsel prospective students and their families.
· Complete surveys relating to admissions functions.
· Serve as the United Methodist Relations Coordinator.
· With the Director of Alumni, coordinate the Alumni Admission volunteer program.
· Act for the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid in his/her absence.
Qualifications: three to five years of admissions recruiting experience, a bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication skills. Travel is an integral part of this position. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

HEAD JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH
Position Description: Kentucky Wesleyan College invites applications for the full-time position of Head Junior Varsity Football Coach. The JV coach will be responsible for recruiting and retention of non-scholarship student-athletes, academic supervision, scheduling, and assisting the head varsity coach with the varsity program as needed. The successful candidate will adhere to all NCAA legislation and KWC policies and will report to the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with coaching experience and understanding of NCAA Division II and Kentucky Wesleyan recruiting philosophy.
