Fitness and Sports Management at KWC
Kentucky Wesleyan's Fitness and Sport Management major is for students interested in the business and administrative side of sport and fitness. We prepare you for career opportunities in areas like health and wellness, corporate fitness, sport and athletic administration (high school, college and professional), sports marketing and public relations, community recreation, commercial recreation and sports information.
Our strong academic program also provides significant opportunity to go on to graduate school where several areas of emphasis are available.
The interdisciplinary curriculum provides course work in the sciences, philosophy, ethics, sociology and the history of sport and fitness.
Fitness and Sports Management majors have the opportunity to compete nationally for internships and for internships with the Owensboro Medical Health System HealthPark, local and in-state businesses, and the KWC Athletics Department.
Kentucky Wesleyan offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness and Sport Management.
