Nicolas Palmer Discusses the Life of a Conductor

Owensboro, Ky. (April 3, 2013) - Kentucky Wesleyan College will host a lecture by Nicholas Palmer on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel at the Barnard-Jones Administration Building.  He will discuss the life of a conductor, including information about his work, preparation and world travels. Palmer will also share photos of his travels and field questions from the audience.


Palmer is music director and conductor of the Owensboro Symphony and the Lafayette (Ind.) Symphony Orchestra. He is acclaimed as a guest conductor around the world and has recently conducted in South America, Salt Lake City, Detroit and other locations. Palmer is also artist in residence in conducting at KWC and mentors and teaches music majors in conducting.
